Triumph Foods filed a lawsuit in Massachusetts federal district
court challenging the constitutionality of the state law known as Question 3 (Q3) and, in turn,
similar laws like it, including California’s Proposition 12 (Prop 12). Christensen Farms Midwest,
LLC, The Hanor Company of Wisconsin, LLC, New Fashion Pork, LLP, and Eichelberger Farms,
Inc., also joined the suit as plaintiffs, along with the Allied Producers’ Cooperative, a group of
smaller Midwest farmers.
Triumph Foods and United Food and Commercial Workers Union (UFCW) Local 2 today welcomed a delegation from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to Triumph’s St. Joseph facility. UFCW Local 2 selected Triumph to host OSHA Assistant Secretary of Labor Douglas L. Parker for a tour of the facility to showcase Triumph’s safety record.
Triumph Foods today announced that for the second
consecutive year, it has been recognized by the North American Meat Institute with the
2022 NAMI Worker Safety Recognition Award. This is NAMI’s highest-ranking honor for
worker safety and recognizes Triumph’s commitment to safety, health, and reduction of
injury and illness in the meat and poultry industry.
Employees from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) recently visited the Triumph Foods facility in St. Joseph, Mo. to learn more about its successful worker safety programs.
Triumph Foods is pleased to announce it has named Matt England as President and Chief Executive Officer. A longtime executive at Triumph Foods, England was promoted from his previous role as Chief Operations Officer.
