    SUMMARY: This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining Occupational Health programs, policies and procedures for facility, supervising and evaluating nursing care provided to team members and ensuring adequate staffing is provided on each shift, and monitoring all Health Services Department (HSD) functions to ensure HSD staff adheres to correct nursing procedures. Other duties include attending facility management production meetings to provide occupational health related updates, ensuring annual renewal and obtaining physician signature for Clinical Condition Guidelines and Standing Medication Orders, conducting annual HSD performance evaluations, and interviewing and hiring qualified HSD staff. Other responsibilities include conducting new HSD staff orientation, conducting monthly in-service training for HSD staff, managing ergonomic health management program for the facility, manage workers’ compensation case management program and ensuring records and reporting systems comply with OSHA, State, company and legal requirements. Other duties include planning and maintaining department budget, participating in facility safety and ergonomic programs, developing and coordinating health education programs for team members and performing other duties as the need arises.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee assigned staff.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

    • Facilitate the smooth day-to-day operations of the on-site health center through supervision and scheduling of the clinician staff, and management of the clinic.
    • Serve as a liaison with Triumph’s TPA, external care providers, and operations and HR staff in the management of workers compensation cases.
    • Oversee and administer protocols established by the medical director.  Ensure care under the Standing Operating Procedures occurs.
    • Provide and coordinate direct nursing and physical therapy care for follow-up of occupational injuries and illnesses.
    • Coordinate and oversee monthly on site provider clinic.
    • Maintain appropriate records on cases to include chart notes associated with clinic visits and outcomes.
    • File first reports of injury with Triumph’s TPA.
    • Collaborate with other members of the on-site health team, to include wellness/prevention, safety, ergonomics, and EAP representatives to identify problems and propose solutions to maintain a safe and healthful work force and dependent population.
    • Utilize the principles of education to develop and deliver educational programs related to health promotion, and risk prevention, worker safety.
    • Demonstrate an understanding of the regulations from OSHA and the state workers compensation boards and their impact of the workplace.
    • Demonstrate understanding of the Americans with Disabilities Act to include application and evaluation of essential functions and the interactive process, the Pregnancy Discrimination Act, HIPAA, and other pertinent anti-discrimination laws.
    • Deploy post-offer, pre-employment physical process for new hires.
    • Oversee the Hearing Conservation Program.
    • Deploy fit for duty evaluations in return to work and causation situations.
    • Establish and maintain appropriate supplies for the clinic.
    • Establish and maintain scorecard for clinic and required reporting to include OSHA Logs and a monthly dashboard which includes number of visits, general visit types, etc.
    • Establish and evaluate goals and priorities with the Vice President of Human Resources.
    • Establish and communicate health services activities to the Communications Manager on a regular basis (i.e. Annual Flu Shots, Flu Season Alerts, Produce Project, etc.)
    • Coordinate the professional development of health center personnel through orientation, assessing the needs for professional education and ongoing evaluation of the staff’s performance.
    • Ensure licensure of staff is up to date at all times.
    • Provide any other services required.
    • Coordinate and perform annual audit of clinic practices.

     

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.     • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. RN degree preferred.  Current State license as a Registered Nurse required.

    DESCRIPTION:

    The general production worker is responsible for the preparation of meat products for the packaging and selling of the product. Typical job responsibilities may include carcass processing, grinding of meats to create various products, slicing meat cuts for further processing, transporting carcasses to chillers and freezers, packaging meat for sale, and ensuring health and safety standards are met. The work environment is steady, repetitive in motion and fast-paced.

    Job Duties include: manual material handling and the use of hand tools, knives, machinery and equipment while processing, packaging and shipping pork products; cut carcasses for further processing; separate meat and by products; clean, trim, slice, section, and weigh raw materials; inspect meat products defects, bruises or blemishes and remove them along with any excess fat; check products to ensure they are up to USDA standards; package cut products through a packaging machine; box products based on order specifications; Monitor machines and equipment, and adjust when necessary; adhere to all safety procedures and policies; and perform additional duties as requested by supervisor.

    Physical Demands. The physical demands herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee in order to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the job, the employee will stand on a hard surface for eight to twelve hours and will be required to move around the facility. The employee will perform repetitive hand/arm movements, carry, twist, bend, kneel, climb, balance, and squat. Depending on the level of duty assigned, the employee will: Repetitively push or pull objects from less than 20 pounds and up to 85 pounds; regularly lift objects weighing less than 20 pounds and potentially up to 100 pounds.

No minimum education or experience is required. On the job, training will be provided.

    Employer will offer a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday-Sunday. Depending on whether the worker is stationed on the hot or cold side, the shift will begin between either 5:00 a.m. and 5:45 a.m. or between 2:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Shifts will end between 2:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. or between 9:00 p.m and 9:30 pm. Overtime will be available in order to keep up with production demands. Workers are needed to begin work on October 1, 2022 through March 31, 2023

    The Production Supervisor is an integral part of the manufacturing process and must be able to comprehend the complexity of operations.  The ideal candidate will be able to optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing costs.

     

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities.  The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and directing production operations.  They ensure best methods are uniformly utilized with respect to production practices and Triumph Foods Policies.  They guarantee manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflow.

    The Director of Veterinary Services is responsible for the strategic and tactical management of veterinary activities and support.  This individual will interact with a wide range of stakeholders from producer veterinarians to USDA FSIS veterinarians with the end goal of producing safe wholesome pork.  It is expected that this position will be occupied by a technical leader capable of supporting relevant research programs.

    JOB PURPOSE

    Manages production operations in ensuring attainment of production goals while maintaining product quality and food safety standards.  Responsible for employee and workplace safety, improving performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability of departmental and organizational operations utilizing effective methods and strategies to improve operations.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide leadership and effective direction for all operational activities related to production, product quality, food safety and workplace safety. Ensure all operations on the production floor are carried out in accordance with company, and federal regulations, consistently meeting company and USDA standards.
    • Monitor and enhance yields and efficiencies while maintaining acceptable plant profitability with guidance from general manager.
    • Provide leadership to all Production team members and ensure efficient labor placements and continuous improvement processes.

    SEABOARD de MEXICO:

    A 55,000 square foot food production plant located in Reynosa, Mexico.  For over 12 years, it has

    processed and packaged meat products that are sold and distributed to retailers, distributors and further

    processors in Mexico and the USA.   The facility employs a union staff of approximately 300 and is

    jointly owned by Seaboard Foods and Triumph Foods, two of the largest pork production

    companies in the USA.

    SUMMARY: This position will provide desktop (including HRIS – human resource information systems, primarily ADP Vantage, and AIS – accounting information systems, primarily JD Edwards and Carlisle) support throughout the organization to help administer data and process consistency within its record keeping systems. This role will provide support and guidance to Accounting, Purchasing, Operations, Maintenance, HR and Payroll practitioners in the areas of record keeping, security, reporting, interfaces, and best practices, and will lead AIS and HRIS project management activities and implementations of new processes and system tools.

     

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Yes, two HRIS Analysts will directly report to this role with potential future team growth opportunities

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

     

    • Administers Company’s HRIS (primarily ADP Vantage) and AIS (primarily JD Edwards, Carlisle, AS400, QuickBooks, FAS, etc.)
    • Assist in the review, testing, and implementation of HRIS and AIS upgrades and additional modules
    • Provide HRIS and AIS support, including; researching and resolving problems, performing scheduled activities, recommending solutions.
    • Handle and maintain confidential materials, including financial and personnel records and files – ensuring employee personnel files / accounting records are complete, compliant, confidential and current
    • Partner with other members of management to promote awareness of current trends in HRIS and AIS to better leverage technological tools and enhance or improve existing processes
    • Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
    • Creates and maintains SOPs for best-practice processes and procedures
    • Performs data audits within the HR systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity
    • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
