Triumph Foods receives North American Meat Institute Worker Safety Recognition Award
ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (March 12, 2024) –Triumph Foods has been recognized by the North American Meat Institute with the NAMI Worker Safety Recognition Award. NAMI’s highest-ranking honor for worker safety recognizes Triumph’s commitment to safety, health, and reduction of injury and illness in the meat and poultry industry.

We create opportunities for them and our community to prosper and do so through a safety-first culture,” said Triumph Foods President and CEO Matt England. “We are proud to again be recognized by our industry and NAMI with this employee-focused honor.”
The recognition is part of a program that is administered by the National Safety Council and sponsored by NAMI. The program aims to improve safety performance through the establishment of sound safety and health programs at the plant level. The award certifies that Triumph Foods has achieved a high level of safety performance as part of its ongoing efforts to reduce occupational injury and illness.

Triumph Foods has received several honors for workplace safety, including NAMI’s Award of Merit. The company also previously received the Safety Verified Certification through Matrix Clinical Solutions. That program, developed with Cleveland Clinic, demonstrated Triumph’s commitment to limiting the impact of COVID-19 within its facility.
