Leader in the Pork industry

While the nation continues to grapple with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) health pandemic, Triumph Foods is continuing it’s relief efforts in the St. Joseph/Buchanan County area. This week, the company is contributing over 1,700 pounds of fresh pork products to the St. Joseph Police and Fire Departments, as well as Buchanan County EMS and Sheriff’s Department. This donation to area public safety professionals is a token of appreciation for these worker’s commitment to the safety of the residents of Buchanan County and St. Joseph during these very difficult times. Triumph Foods Communications and Community Relations Manager, Chris Clark said,“We will support our community in anyway we can. While we continue operations and continue to supply food to the nation, we invite anyone who may have lost their employment or income source to consider reaching out to an essential business or organization in the food supply chain for employment. Triumph Foods will continue to operate, make food and offer employment to our community. We are in this together.”

Fire Department Chief, Mike Dalsing said, “The St Joseph Fire Department would like to thank Triumph Foods for providing this donation to our firefighters during this Pandemic. Public support has been outstanding and this is another example of everyone working together to get through these trying times.”

“On behalf of the Police Department we would like to thank Triumph for their community support, and their support for our personnel as we continue to work through this crisis. We appreciate all of the essential employees throughout our community, and the sacrifices our citizens are making every day.” said Chris Connally, St. Joseph Chief of Police.

Buchanan County Western District Commissioner, Ron Hook stated, “Thank you Triumph Foods for the great gesture to the EMS and Sheriff’s department. You are a tremendous supporter of this community.”

Last month, the Company donated over 13,000 pounds of product to Second Harvest Community Food Bank, Open Door Food Kitchen, Interserv of St. Joseph and The Army Delta Battery 1/129th FA Regiment, collectively.
